1: What is the appropriate age to start using the Podee Baby Bottle ?

The principle purpose in using the Podee Baby Bottle is to help reduce colic, reflux and ear infections .  This is accomplished when the baby uses the bottle in an upright or semi-upright position.  Hence , it is best to use this bottle when the baby is able to sit in an upright or semi-upright position.

2: How do you clean the Podee Baby Bottle

You can wash all the parts in warm soapy water .  There is a cleaning brush included to clean the tubes. The bottles and connectors should all be sterilized but not the tubes.

3: How do you solve the flowing problem ?

Make sure all the tubes are fitted as tightly as possible to the white connector parts . When these parts are not sealed air will get in the tube and teat which will cause flowing problems.

4: The bottle leaks when laid on its side - what can you do to prevent this ?

The air vent in the feeding system is designed to prevent a vaccum effect inside the bottle when the baby drinks. The system will not work properly without this vent.  When the bottle is laid on its side , the liquid will slowly make its way through the vent and thus cause the leakage.  As much as possible ,keep the bottle in a vertical position to prevent the bottle leaking.

5: How do I resolve the problem with the tubes sliding of the connectors after cleaning several times ?

Cut at least 1/4" off the ends of the tube to make the connection tight again or you can buy replacement tubes when needed.

6: How do you put it all together ?

It may look a bit daunting at first but once you have everything in the right place it is easy to assemble.  There are full instructions included in the box including a diagram.  The number one point is to ensure all the tubes and connectors are fitted tighty to ensure it works correctly. 

 7: Can I use any other teat with the Podee bottle :

Some babies just don't like the Podee teat , you can also use the Dr. Brown and Tesco standard size teat .  This way you can change the flow according to what your baby likes best.
